The “China Railway Science” is run by China Academy of Railway Sciences (CARS). It is a comprehensive academic journal distributed in China and abroad for professionals of the same trade. Its tenet is to develop railway science and technology, and strive to publish accurately, quickly and in an all-round way excellent academic papers on research, application, theory exploration, engineering practice and development summaries of railway science and technology.

The “Chinese Railways” is a magazine, which was originally named as “Railway Technical Trend”, first published in 1962. The name was changed to the present one in 1990. The “Chinese Railways” is a monthly magazine managed by the Department of Science and Technology of the Ministry of Railways and run by the Technological Information Research Institute of the Ministry of Railways. The magazine enjoys the close attention from leaders of MOR, Railway Administrations and the grass-root units.
